Terms of Service — Srikandee Metalworks Sdn. Bhd.

Welcome to Srikandee Metalworks. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and any purchase of products or services from us. By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Srikandee Metalworks Sdn. Bhd. ("Srikandee," "we," "us," "our") is a custom fabrication business based in Selangor, Malaysia, specialising in made-to-order kitchen cabinets, entrance cabinets, and other furniture/metalwork products for residential and commercial customers.

2. Orders & Quotations

  • All quotations provided are valid for 7 days from the date issued, unless stated otherwise.
  • An order is only confirmed once the 50% deposit is received and the design, dimensions, materials, and pricing have been approved in writing (including via email, WhatsApp, or Shopify order confirmation).
  • Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are subject to change without notice until an order is confirmed.

3. Payment Terms

  • 50% deposit is due upon order confirmation to commence production.
  • 50% balance is due upon completion and installation, before or at the point of handover.
  • We reserve the right to pause or halt production if payment is not received according to the agreed schedule.

4. Production & Lead Time

  • Estimated production and installation timelines will be communicated at the point of order confirmation. These are estimates only and may be affected by material availability, site conditions, or other factors outside our control.
  • Any changes to design, material, or scope after order confirmation may result in additional charges and/or extended lead time, and must be agreed in writing.

5. Site Access & Installation

  • The customer is responsible for ensuring the installation site is accessible, ready, and safe for our team to carry out work on the scheduled date.
  • Additional charges may apply for site delays, rescheduling caused by the customer, or site conditions requiring extra work (e.g. structural modifications, electrical/plumbing conflicts) not disclosed at the time of quotation.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate measurements, site information, and design preferences. Srikandee is not liable for issues arising from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
  • Any design or material approval given by the customer (verbally, in writing, or via signed drawings) is considered final once production begins.

7. Warranty

  • Our products are covered under a limited workmanship warranty of 3 months  from the date of installation, covering manufacturing defects only.
  • This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, water damage, unauthorised modification, normal wear and tear, or issues arising from site conditions beyond our control.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Srikandee's liability for any claim relating to a product or service is limited to the repair, rework, or value of the specific item in question, and shall not exceed the total amount paid for that order.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of income, or damage to property not directly caused by our workmanship.

9. Intellectual Property

  • Any custom designs, drawings, or renderings created by Srikandee for a customer's order remain the intellectual property of Srikandee unless otherwise agreed in writing, and may not be reproduced or used for fabrication by third parties.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or any order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
